WWE has been interviewing several of their Superstars who were a part of EVOLVE history in anticipation for the promotion’s big 10th Anniversary set to air live on the WWE Network next Saturday night, head-to-head against AEW Fight for the Fallen.
In the video below, Daniel Bryan discusses actually coming up with the name for EVOLVE Wrestling over a decade ago, during a conversation he had with founder Gabe Sapolsky.
The former world champion also says he wishes he could have spent more time working in EVOLVE as it had some of the greatest talents in the world at the time, but he ended up signing with WWE the same year that it was founded. Bryan did work the main event of EVOLVE 4 against Bobby Fish, and the main event of EVOLVE 5 against Munenori Sawa.
