Corey Graves Changes Twitter Handle To ‘The Woman’, Claims Vince McMahon Isn’t Paying Attention To Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch may be waging simultaneous wars against Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Ronda Rousey, Nia Jax and just about every glass ceiling the wrestling industry has ever put in front of her, but the REAL battle (at least this week) has been a virtual one with WWE announcer Corey Graves.

Graves, who traditionally plays more of a heel character on WWE television, has been taking shots at the Smackdown Women’s Champion for quite some time now. Becky fired back on Twitter this week calling the eternally trendy commentator “Heenan-lite”, and claiming that she “drums up more interest in one tweet” than Graves does “with five hours” on TV each week.

In the latest exchange between the two, Graves swung for the fences by stating, “It’s tough to go FULL-Heenan when the boss is actually paying attention to your work. You’ll realize that somebody.”

The implication is of course that Vince McMahon, owner of the company and the final word in literally everything that airs on WWE television, isn’t actually “paying attention” to its current women’s champion. He also changed his Twitter handle to “The Woman”, playing off Lynch referring to herself as “The Man” in recent weeks.

I’ll admit it. It’s tough to go FULL-Heenan when the boss is actually paying attention to your work. You’ll realize that someday. 🤷‍♂️@BeckyLynchWWE https://t.co/8nyd5BzkB5
