Bordeaux manager Vladimir Petković has announced in his press conference ahead of his team’s match against Lille that there are three new cases of Covid-19 in the squad, taking the total to 5.
Last week, midfielder Rémi Oudin and Dilane Bakwa had returned positive tests, with Stian Gregersen, Sékou Mara and Issouf Sissokho now adding to the list.
As a result, the five will miss the LOSC fixture, while further tests were carried out on Tuesday. As pointed out by L’Équipe, the LFP’s protocol allows clubs to ask for matches to be postponed if they do not have 20 of their 30-man squad available, including a goalkeeper.
