Triple H On Vince Possibly Venturing Outside of WWE
As noted, Vince McMahon recently made headlines when he sold over $100 million worth of WWE stock to fund his Alpha Entertainment project which will operate independently of WWE. Along with Alpha Entertainment’s launch came rumors of a possible XFL return, and in a recent interview with ABC News, WWE Executive Triple H had the following to say about Vince’s ventures outside of WWE possibly stealing his focus from the wrestling business.
“I don’t think there’s any sense of change,” Levesque said. “If anybody thinks they’re going to push him out or take this thing, there’s going to be a hell of a fight.”
If there is, what better place to show it than Monday nights on “Raw.”
Sami Zayn on Raw vs SD
WWE Smackdown Live star Sami Zayn recently spoke with SC Now to promote this past Saturday night’s WWE live event in Florence, South Carolina, and below is what Zayn had to say on real competition between the Raw and Smackdown brands:
“We’ve got a lot of hungry guys. Raw has been the big show forever, and we’re all working twice as hard to make the show as good as possible. We might all be working for the same company, but there’s a lot of competition, and that makes for a better product.”
