WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday morning to apologize for his racist comments from years ago that leaked online last month.
During the segment, Hogan said that he is not a racist but “never should have said what I said.”
“It was wrong,” he added. “I’m embarrassed by it.” He said WWE cutting ties with him was “devastating” he feels like they have completely erased him from history.
While Hogan is hoping to make a triumphant return to WWE one day, a WWE spokesperson told the Hollywood Reporter:
“At this time, the WWE remains steadfast in its decision.”
