– Former UFC fighter and Global Force Wrestling announcer Chael Sonnen attended last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings from Portland, Oregon.
It was reported several weeks ago via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sonnen would be meeting with Michael Cole at the show. According to that report, the meeting was arranged by WWE talent scout Gerald Brisco and WWE’s Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Ceman.
– Former NXT head trainer Bill Demott is joining the RELM podcast network, home of Vince Russo’s “The Brand.” His weekly show premieres August 18th at RelmNetwork.com. In a press release sent out this week, DeMott said, “The team of Vince Russo and Bill DeMott—back together again after all these years—get ready!”
