Ahead of his return at the NXT live event last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, Matt Riddle reflected back on his UFC debut.
“The King of Bros” worked the NXT Las Vegas house show this weekend at the Palms Casino, which brought back memories of his MMA fighting debut in the UFC, which was held in the same location.
“12 years ago I had my first fight with the UFC and now 12 years later at the very same venue (THE PALMS) I wrestle for NXT in front of my friends and family,” wrote Riddle via Twitter before last night’s show.
“Moments like this make me extremely proud because I never gave up on myself even when this seemed impossible,” he concluded.
