Shane Strickland is the latest highly regarded wrestler to enter free agency in the constantly evolving pro wrestling landscape.
Strickland took to social media on Tuesday to announce that he is “Officially a free agent again.” He also noted that he has some dates open for independent bookings in February, March and April.
Back in August, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE was interested in Strickland. In November, PWInsider.com reported that Strickland was expected to be included in the next class to report to the WWE Performance Center. Things were later complicated due to him being under contract with the Lucha Underground promotion, where he played the “Killshot” character.
