Breezango Storyline Update, TJP Injury Update, Pop TV Renews GFW

Fandango and Tyler Breeze have been receiving much more television time as of late. The two wrestlers have been praised for their weekly ‘Fashion Files’ segments on Smackdown, and the likes of Nikki Bella and John Cena are even said to be fans of the duo. One of the biggest mysteries surrounding the team concerns who has been messing with them during the segments over the past few weeks. Rumors of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan being the culprits are still being reported, however, Cageside Seats now claims that the company could actually be using the skits as a way for former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain to make their debuts.
It had been reported a few weeks back that 205 Live’s TJP has suffered some sort of knee injury that would keep him out of action for a while. He had been appearing on crutches during television to sell the injury. On this week’s episode, TJP did indeed get physical, and it appears that the company is building to another match between him and Rich Swann. Cageside Seats reports that the inaugural Cruiserweight Champion was actually never injured at all, and that the entire injury was done as part of a storyline. TJP is expected to be wrestling for the company once again now that he has revealed that his entire knee injury was nothing more than a ruse.
Global Force Wrestling has had a bit of a shaky year so far. They have lost huge names such as The Hardys, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Davey Richards, Drew Galloway, and plenty others. They’ve also had issues with Alberto El Patron as their inaugural champion since rebranding as GFW. Luckily for the company, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Pop TV has renewed GFW for another year, and it will be staying on the network throughout 2018. GFW does not earn much from their television contract and their viewership numbers mainly bring in a split on ad revenue from the shows. Most of the company’s income come from their TV deals in the UK and India. They are in the process of budgeting by taping more shows with each visit to Universal Studios Florida, they also have some working relationships with other promotions, and they are hoping to see profits from live events soon as well.
