NJPW Gives An Update On Takahashi’s Injury, Fale On Bullet Club

It was previously reported that according to Dave Meltzer in a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi suffered a broken neck (preliminary report) in his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title Match against Dragon Lee at last Saturday night’s NJPW G1 Special in San Francisco. After finishing the match, he collapsed backstage and was taken to the local nearby hospital. New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) has since confirmed that Takahashi suffered a neck injury and is currently undergoing evaluation. The promotion also noted that he is conscious and is able to sit and talk.
As we all know by now, a brawl ensued between members of The Bullet Club last Saturday night after Kenny Omega retained his IWGP Heavyweight Title against Cody at NJPW’s G1 Special Event. Notably absent from The Bullet Club brawl was one of two remaining founding members, Bad Luck Fale. He recently took to Twitter to respond to the situation and had this to say, “F— ’em!” This prompted a bunch of replies as to which side he is referring to. Tama Tonga is the other remaining original member, so one would think that Fale will side with Tonga’s “Firing Squad.” You can check out Fale’s response below:

Fuck ‘em!
