Earlier today it was reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that Aleister Black, Andrade and Zelina Vega were moved back to the Smackdown roster just one week after being drafted to Monday Night Raw in the Superstar Shake-Up.
PWInsider.com has shed more light on the situation, reporting that at least a part of the reason why the three were shifted back to the blue brand actually comes from the FOX network.
Smackdown Live will of course be moving to FOX later this fall, and apparently requested that Andrade and Zelina be moved back to the show because the network wants to push the WWE’s Latino wrestlers as fixtures of Fox Deportes, their Spanish-language channel.
Aleister Black is married to Vega, and in general the company does its best to keep married couples together on the road, as much as they possibly can. It’s also worth noting that Andrade is currently dating Charlotte Flair, who is on Smackdown, and one would figure has at least some influence as one of the top two women on the roster.
