After RVD made a surprise appearance at this week’s WWE Raw Reunion, IMPACT Wrestling has released a statement about the matter.
The former ECW Champion is currently under contract with IMPACT, which is why he wasn’t expected by anybody to appear, but the company were happy to let him make a one-off appearance.
IMPACT told WrestlingInc.com: “RVD appeared on RAW with our blessing. We were approached about it and didn’t see why we would have any problem with it.”
