– Yesterday WWE released 7 contracted wrestlers, including former ECW Champion Bobby Lashley. We’re told there are more cuts on the way in the next few weeks.
– John Cena will soon begin shooting “12 Rounds”, his movie from WWE Films. Cena will be given off Mondays so he can attend WWE RAW tapings leading up to Wrestlemania.
– NBC has been trying to cross promote the American Gladiators with the WWE. WWE is hesitant to do a major angle with them after what happened with the Jackass crew last summer. Despite the fact that WWE started promoting the angle on television, the guys from Jackass started flaking out one by one until the angle was scrapped all together.
