– The price for this year’s WrestleMania will be set at $54.95 with rumors that it will be $69.95 in some areas for High Definition. Last year the show was $49.95.
– WWE has been scrutinized lately by the media in Spain, reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Both La Asociacion de Usuarios de la Comunicacion and La Condereacion Nacional de Padres de Familia y Padres del Alumnos have called for a ban of WWE television during hours children would be watching. Most every major newspaper picked up on the story on February 12th, saying they want WWE banned except from the hours of 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. The same thing happened in Mexico in 1955 which led to Lucha Libre being off television in Mexico City until the late 80s.
– Reader Bill Clark sent this in… I just received the Batista cover March 2008 magazine in the mail. It comes with a poster with Triple H, John Cena, The Undertaker and Batista in the desert on a road. It says “Who will survive the road to WrestleMania XXIV” I noticed that The Undertaker’s “Sara” tattoo has been removed. Just thought I would pass that along.
