Paige and Carmella recently took to social media to voice their displeasure with an opinion piece dubbed, How The Divas Are Damaging The Evolution, which looked at the in-ring abilities of talent from the “Divas Era” of WWE not comparing to those of today’s generation of WWE Superstars.
The article focused on the upcoming first-ever WWE all-women’s pay-per-view, WWE Evolution, as the card continues to take shape with the addition of matches involving talents from the aforementioned “Divas Era,” as well as today’s crop of talent.
Carmella posted the following comment about the article:
This is an embarrassing article. Every single woman from the past and current roster have made women’s wrestling what it is. EVERYONE is deserving. Enough of the negativity around the “diva” moniker. https://t.co/JAqI9OIVBa
