One of the hottest independent wrestling sensations on the planet was signed to a deal to begin working on the NXT brand back in January. It was previously reported that Ricochet debuted at a recent NXT television taping, but the young star has just wrestled his first match at an NXT live event. Ricochet debuted in during Thursday’s NXT live event in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and he has already made an impact by defeating former NXT Tag Team Champion and 205 Live’s newest superstar Buddy Murphy. Ricochet was later interviewed backstage after his match ended and he promised fans that he is only just getting started with his new career in WWE.

The shocking announcement that Jeff Jarrett will be joining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018 still has fans talking several days later, but now the stars of WWE have chimed in with their own thoughts. WWE cameras recently caught up with WWE Champion AJ Styles and asked him about Jarrett. Given the fact that Styles worked as a top star in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling for several years (which was co-founded by Jarrett) and has also teamed up with him during their time in the Bullet Club, Styles admits that he owes a good portion of his career to the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Check out the video posted down below to hear what Styles had to say about Jeff Jarrett.
After Ethan Carter III trademarked his ring name and left Impact Wrestling earlier this year, it did not take long for fans to speculate that he would be joining WWE. Sure enough, WWE confirmed that EC3 was the newest signee of the NXT brand during the NXT Takeover: Philadelphia event in January. EC3 has not appeared on NXT ever since then, but he still can be found on episodes of Impact since the shows currently airing on Pop TV each week were taped several weeks ago. A fan recently asked the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer if this has anything to do with the fact that EC3 has been absent from television, to which he stated that the decision to keep him off of NXT episodes has been WWE’s choice.
No, it’s just a WWE decision https://t.co/TR0HK5kNID
