More matches have been announced for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
AEW President Tony Khan announced on Twitter this afternoon that Hikaru Shida will face Britt Baker in a singles match. This stems from what happened this past week on Dynamite when Baker got into it with Shida during Shida’s match against Anna Jayy. Baker exchanged more words with Shida after the match.
Lance Archer will also be in action. He defeated Marko Stunt this past week in his debut match.
Additionally, Chris Jericho will be on commentary this week with Tony Schiavone.
Already announced for the show is the start of the TNT title tournament, where Cody will face Shawn Spears in the opening round. This will be the first time the two have met since All Out last August, when Cody defeated Spears.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, AEW this past week taped a number of matches in an undisclosed area in Georgia that will air on Dynamite in the coming weeks.
