Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame but the company has not signed him to any sort of contract at the moment due to his controversial past. With or without WWE’s permission, Hogan has recently reunited with his former NWO comrades Scott Hall and Kevin Nash for a mysterious and unknown project. Videos and messages posted by “The Hulkster” online definitely indicate that he and the gang are working together once again and will be making an official announcement about the reunion soon. In the past, Hogan has mentioned that he will be making a special announcement on October 27th, so it sounds like it will only be a matter of months before the trio dons the black and white once again.

Alberto Del Rio (aka Alberto El Patron) is in the news once thanks to his sudden falling out with Lucha Libre promotion AAA. Conflicting reports over the cause for Alberto pulling out of the upcoming TripleMania show have been made lately, but he will definitely not be wrestling for AAA any time soon. The former WWE and Impact Wrestling world champion has become a controversial figure in the wrestling industry over the past few years due to reports over his backstage behavior, as well as because of the fact that he no-showed an event for Impact earlier this year that was said to be a major reason why the promotion decided to release him from his contract during the weekend of WrestleMania.
That does not mean that there aren’t promotions out there who would still be willing to work with Alberto. While being interviewed on The Roman Show, Alberto even discussed possibly returning to WWE again at some point in the near future. Alberto says that he would love to come back and wrestle names such as Dolph Ziggler and Rey Mysterio in a WWE ring again in what he says will be his final run with the company. Vince McMahon is said to be an admirer of Alberto’s, and he himself even acknowledged his great relationship with the Chairman during the interview. The 2011 Royal Rumble winner is confident that he will return to the promotion very soon for at least one more stint, stating: “I am pretty sure I’ll be back one day before I decide to retire. I will go back there to have a last final run.”
