How much every Premier League club has spent per point on transfers in the 2018/19 season

Spending on transfers in the Premier League has continued to rise ever since the division’s inception in 1992.

When Andy Cole left Newcastle United for Manchester United for £7million in 1995, football fans were left shocked and stunned.

That was until the Magpies smashed the record themselves in the summer of 1996 to bring prodigal son Alan Shearer to St James’ Park for £15million.

Bringing players to a club is a complicated and arduous process and is never a guarantee for success. For example; for every Eric Cantona, there is an Eric Djemba-Djemba.

And speculation does not always equal accumulation as some clubs in the Premier League are discovering this season.

A recent fan satisfaction survey by freesupertips.co.uk has revealed just how much each Premier League club has spent per point this season on transfers.

Below, talkSPORT have ranked each club by spending per point – from lowest and finishing with the highest.
