We’ve been following Emma Stone throughout her time at the 2016 Venice Film Festival. From her arrival wearing a knit maxidress to the glittery, silver-fringed, custom Atelier Versace gown she wore Wednesday to the La La Land premiere. And today, she turned heads for a more casual look, sporting a denim culotte jumpsuit with cutouts at the waist, paired with a simple cardigan and nude sandals. The Birdman star accessorized with a simple pendant necklace and black sunglasses as she walked down the street.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the movie musical, co-starring Ryan Gosling, follows Stone’s character, an aspiring actress as she falls in love with a jazz musician (Gosling) and struggles to “make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts.” The movie, directed by Damien Chazelle, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Whiplash, opened to rave reviews and we can’t wait to see it when it hits theaters on Dec. 2.
