Tottenham forward Harry Kane has been ruled out of action until March after sustaining ankle ligament damage in Spurs’ loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
The striker, who is currently level with Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang at the top of the league’s scoring charts, will miss crucial clashes against Chelsea (twice), Borussia Dortmund and potentially Arsenal at home.

Kane’s record since his breakthrough under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2014/15 season is phenomenal.
He has scored 155 goals in 217 in all competitions and risen to be one of the Premier League’s deadliest strikers.
Having picked up the league’s Golden Boot twice, as well as the World Cup Golden Boot in the summer, he will obviously be a huge loss to the side.
But Spurs’ stats without him may give some Tottenham fans reason to be optimistic.
