Clooney took a style cue from Katie Holmes on Wednesday in N.Y.C. when she opted for a retro two-piece for her meetings at the U.N. Perhaps the mother of two was attempting to communicate something about the current state of our country (like, we’re stuck in the past … )?
Anyway, whatever Amal’s aim, we like her style. There are few people who can wear polka dots without looking like a tablecloth at a children’s birthday party, and I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that Mrs. Clooney is one of them. Not only does she look chic in this ‘80s-tinged two-piece, but she looks sophisticated and worldly — the kind of woman you’d want to see taking meetings at The U.N.
