Here’s a relationship problem that virtually no other couple on Earth aside from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have: What do you do when one of you is offered a million dollars to post sponsored content on Instagram?
While the rest of us have more pedestrian couples’ worries, like what kind of flowers and chocolates to buy, Kim K was considering a $1 million deal with a clothing brand. But when she asked Kanye’s opinion, he was less than pleased.
“It is great money, but the brand was typically knockoff Yeezy, so I said let me ask Kanye how he feels about it,” Kardashian told Ashley Graham on the model’s new podcast, according to People.

Long story short: Kanye asked her to take a hard pass, and she obliged as a show of support. To make it up to Kardashian though, he did send her his own $1 million check for Mother’s Day a couple weeks later.
“He happened to be recording out of town and I get an envelope delivered to the door. I open the envelope and it is a million dollar check and a note saying, ‘Thank you for always supporting me and not posting,’” Kardashian said. “My mom was like, ‘Are you going to cash this?’ And I was like, ‘You better believe I am going to cash this!’ I have no shame. I did feel bad, but two days later, I was like, cashed!”

That wasn’t the end of the gift giving though. Turns out that Kanye was so grateful, he gave Kim a percentage of Yeezy ownership. Relatable!
