Tottenham transfer news: Club willing to sell Vincent Janssen in January despite injury to Harry Kane

Tottenham are believed to be willing to sell Vincent Janssen before the close of the transfer window.

This is despite Harry Kane being sidelined with injury, Heung-Min Son on international duty and Fernando Llorente scoring just one Premier League goal since 2017.

Janssen joined from AZ Alkmaar in 2016 in a £17m deal, but the Telegraph say the striker will be available for around £12m.

In his one season at AZ, he top scored in the Dutch Eredivisie with 27 goals in 34 games, helping his side secure a top four finish.

Since arriving at Spurs, Janssen has two goals in 28 Premier League games and still has 18 months to run on his contract.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce in Turkey.

It is understood Janssen would prefer a permanent move rather than another loan and Burnley are one club said to be interested.
