Ligue 1 side AS Monaco are in advanced talks with Anderlecht teenager Youri Tielemans about a possible summer move which would cost around €25m, according to L’Équipe.
Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea are all after the player in a concrete way, according to the French daily, and PSG have scouted him extensively.
However, AS Monaco are far out in pole position to land the Belgian midfielder’s services, to such an extent that the other big clubs interested have already moved on to other targets, the French newspaper claims.
Tielemans wants to join a club where he is guaranteed playing time before making a step to one of Europe’s top 5, and he and his agent are said to see Monaco as the excellent place to make the next step.
Incidentally, the player’s agent has worked closely with Monaco over recent years and was responsible for the purchase and then the sale of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.
