Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Leicester City remain in the hunt for Liverpool’s French central defender Mamadou Sakho, according to France Football.

Crystal Palace, who had the player on loan for the second half of last season, have remained in regular contact with Liverpool all summer for the player and have now submitted a €28m bid to the Reds.
Leicester City in the meantime enquired directly with the player as recently as Monday night about possible interest in joining the Foxes.
West Brom were also interested, but the 27-year-old rejected them.
