Paris Saint-Germain’s Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak has today completed a loan move to Russian champions Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 28-year-old- who spent the duration of last season on loan at relegated West Brom- had struggled throughout his period in the French capital to earn consistent playing time, making just the solitary 11 appearances since his 2016 move.
Krychowiak’s difficult year will no doubt have been exacerbated by Poland’s disappointing World Cup performance in Russia: the former Sevilla and Reims midfielder starting in all three Group games that resulted in their early elimination from the tournament.
The loan deal is understood to involve an obligation for the Russian side to buy Krychowiak for €10m.
