France Football report that AS Monaco are continuing to pursue 20-year-old central midfielder Youssouf Fofana of RC Strasbourg.
After being in concrete discussions at the beginning of the summer, discussions petered out between the two clubs. ASM want to sign one midfielder with European experience and another promising Ligue 1 talent. Fofana fits the latter bill, but is not the only target that they are looking at (Baptiste Santamaria – Angers).
