As reported by Foot Mercato, Monaco will soon loan 20-year-old Serbian international centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic to FC Basel for the rest of the season.
The defender signed for the Ligue 1 club in 2020 for £9m from Partizan Belgrade but has only played 12 times for Monaco after previous loan spells back with Partizan and Cercle Brugge in Belgium last season.
Although he was more prominent in the squad under previous coach Niko Kovač, he is yet to feature in Ligue 1 under Philippe Clement. The loan will include an option to buy.
