L’Équipe report this afternoon that Marseille have been notified by the Court of Arbitration for Sport will allow them to be active on the transfer market this summer.
OM had been hit with a two-window ban by FIFA over their conflict with Watford in midfielder Pape Gueye’s contract situation, but had filed an appeal.
The final court decision will be given in October, meaning that until then their sanction is suspended as the appeal goes on. The club were notified of the decision to hold up the suspended nature of the sanction this afternoon.
