OGC Nice appear to be on the cusp of bringing in a central midfielder to replace the recently departed captain Nampalys Mendy.
As of this morning, Nice had reached an agreement in principle with RC Lens for the transfer of Wylan Cyprien.
A deal could be concluded in the coming hours worth €2m, according to Le 10 Sport.
It is our understanding that the player has already agreed provisional contract terms with OGC Nice over a five year deal.
New manager Lucien Favre made Cyprien his priority of priorities for this summer transfer window. According to certain indiscretions, Nice will now go after Valenciennes right-back Angelo Fulgini.
