Montpellier manager Michel der Zakarian confirmed in a press conference this morning that 35-year-old reserve goalkeeper Laurent Pionnier will be remaining at the club, despite a concrete offer from Metz.
This was a decision that Pionnier came to himself, having joined the club in 1997, he is hoping to integrate into Montpellier’s coaching team when he eventually retires.
