France Football report that both AS Monaco and PSG remain in talks to sign French World Cup winner Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla.
Les Parisiens now infamously approached N’Zonzi in the last 48 hours of the 2017 summer transfer window, and Sporting Director Antero Henrique remains keen on doing deal for the want-away Sevilla defensive midfielder.
However, manager Thomas Tuchel prefers that the club sign other targets in this area of squad weakness. N’Zonzi himself is very open to signing for PSG.
AS Monaco have in the meantime recently made an approach for the French international, with the Principality side indicating that they have the financial means to meet N’Zonzi’s demands. The question is whether the former Stoke City player would appreciate a move to the Principality – ASM are waiting to find out.
AS Roma and Barcelona are also in discussions for the Frenchman.
