RMC report that Arsenal have tried & failed to include French attacker Anthony Martial in a deal with Manchester United which would have seen Alexis Sanchez go the other way.
José Mourinho & the Manchester United board were quick to dismiss the option out of hand, and negotiations continue between the clubs over an eventual agreement for the Chilean, either cash or with another player in exchange.
Sources contacted by GFFN this evening indicate that Anthony Martial was “absolutely not” interested in moving to Arsenal.
