RMC report that AS Monaco have formally entered into discussions with Malian midfielder Diadie Samassekou of RB Salzburg about a summer transfer.
The Principality side face heavy competition from Borussia Dortmund in an attempt to close the player, who has rejected a move to RB Leipzig.
Neither ASM or BVB have entered into formal negotiations with the Austrian side regarding a fee, but they will likely to do so soon. Salzburg want at least €20m.
