Dernierès Nouvelles D’Alsace report that Nottingham Forest will sign 28-year-old Cape Verdean striker Nuno Da Costa from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for €2m tomorrow.
The player collected his things from his locker in the training ground this morning – he played 74 games in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg, scoring 14 times and laying on 7 assists in the meantime.
An agreement in principle has now been reached between Forest and Strasbourg for a €2m transfer, with bonuses.
He is expected to travel to England tonight ahead of a medical tomorrow morning. If that goes well, he will sign a 3.5 year contract with Sabri Lamouchi’s club and earn around €125k a month, which will triple his existing salary.
