RMC Sport report that Ligue 1 side Rennes are intensifying their attempts to find a replacement for the departing Édouard Mendy, who is still expected to join Chelsea despite protracted negotiations.
SRFC have got into contact with Dijon over the possible signing of 27-year-old Senegalese shot-stopper Alfred Gomis. DFCO had no intention going into this window of selling the goalkeeper, who is arguably their most important player, but the outlet claims that they could be brought to sell with an offer of more than €15m.
Ignazio Genuardi reports that negotiations between Rennes and Chelsea continue for Mendy, with the latest being that the Brittany side are now seeking to include an additional unnamed CFC player, who isn’t Giroud, as well as the loan of Fikayo Tomori.
