L’Équipe report that 20-year-old French central defender William Saliba will not be remaining at OGC Nice past his initial loan which ends next month from Arsenal.
Saliba will return to the Gunners, who are expected to him a chance in the 1st team, especially following the departure of David Luiz and owing to the absence of European football for the London club in 2021/22.
For Jean-Clair Todibo however, Les Aiglons are expected to activate their €8.5m option to buy the player from Barcelona. Talks are ongoing between OGCN and the player’s camp over a 4-year contract with an option to extend for a fifth.
