Clermont have this morning announced that striker Mohamed Bayo has extended his contract, committing to the newly-promoted side until 2024.

The Guinea international scored 22 goals during the club’s promotion campaign last year, having initially joined in 2018.
The 23-year-old was the subject of transfer interest over the summer – notably with links to Bordeaux – but eventually stayed at the Auvergne club, and has scored four goals so far in the team’s maiden Ligue 1 campaign.
