Speaking as a guest on RMC Sport show Rothen s’enflamme, Marseille president Pablo Longoria has indicated that his current position would be his last one in high level football.
The 35-year-old has been president of OM since February 2021, having arrived at the club as director the previous August. He had previously been director at Valencia and a scout in Italy at Juventus, Sassuolo and Atalanta.
“It’s my last adventure in the world of high-level football. I’m not on the market. My dream is to have my time at Marseille, and afterwards it would be to go back to travelling.”
“If I’m doing football, it’s out of passion and it would be impossible to reach this level elsewhere. I wouldn’t want to have this type of responsibility in another type of club. It would be frustrating.”
