RMC are reporting that Paul Pogba (29) is awaiting the arrival of Zinedine Zidane at PSG before opening discussions about a move to the Ligue 1 champions.
According to RMC, Zidane “loves” Pogba, and tried to sign the French international midfielder when he was managing at Real Madrid. Pogba, who has been heavily linked with a return to Juventus, is now waiting for Zidane to be confirmed as Mauricio Pochettino’s successor before beginning discussions with PSG.
According to Omar Altundag, Zidane is set to take charge at PSG, having received an “obscene” offer to become manager of the Parisian side. Meanwhile, Luis Campos’ arrival at the Parc des Princes was also confirmed on Friday and would be involved in any deal to repatriate the former Manchester United midfielder.
