Christophe Galtier and Luis Campos to attend World Cup

Le Parisien are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier and the club’s football advisor Luis Campos will travel out to Qatar to watch the World Cup.

PSG are the most well-represented Ligue 1 team in the tournament. 11 of the club’s players (Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Marquinhos, Carlos Soler, Pablo Sarabia, Keylor Navas, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Danilo Pereira and Achraf Hakimi) will be participating for their respective national teams.

Despite being on international duty, their club manager won’t be far away. Galtier will be attending several matches, and will therefore be based out in Qatar for the tournament until 5th December, the date that those not competing in the competition will return to the Camp des Loges for training.

Campos, meanwhile, will be making trips to and from Qatar to see his players, with the Portuguese football consultant juggling his commitments. The two will exchange views on the performances of the PSG squad, whilst it is also an opportunity to meet the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
