Never one to shy away from controversy, Quade Cooper has landed himself in a spot of bother, after being forced to delete a foul-mouthed Twitter post following last night’s win against Argentina in Mendoza.
After being left on the bench for yesterday’s Rugby Championship win, Cooper found himself brought on early for the injured Matt Toomua.
However he didn’t cover himself in glory, getting sin-binned for this late high tackle in the second half.

After the game it’s clear Cooper wasn’t a happy camper, and had this message to say to one person in particular.
While initially it was thought the message was directed towards Wallabies head coach Michael Cheika, several Australian and New Zealand media outlets are reporting that it is actually directed a journalist.
Earlier in the week, New Zealand Herald columnist Chris Rattue wrote that Michael Cherika is “playing with fire” by putting his backline in the Auckland-born out-half.
Cooper eventually deleted the post before apologising for the language used, but notably didn’t apologise for the sentiment.
