Actress Rosario Dawson appeared on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and ended up attacking Malakai Black.
Black appeared on tonight’s Dynamite and said there is an enemy in their midst. The camera then showed Dawson, who was wearing Nightmare Family apparel. Black started to confront Dawson, but Cody Rhodes was seen entering through the crowd. As Black was distracted, Dawson jumped on Black. Cody then came and the two brawled outside of the ring and into the crowd.
Black and Rhodes have been feuding for the last couple of months, since Black’s AEW arrival in July. The two had a match on the August 4 edition of Dynamite, where Black quickly defeated Rhodes. After the match, Rhodes came out and seemingly announced his retirement, but instead was attacked by Black and was laid out with the black mass kick.
A match between Rhodes and Black will take place next week on the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite, which will take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
Dawson is a judge alongside Rhodes, DJ Khaled, and Jennifer Nettles on the second season of the Go Big Show, which airs on TBS. Rhodes’ absence on Dynamite for the last month was due to the Go Big Show’s taping schedule.
