Kane is the subject of a short video currently on WWE’s YouTube channel. In the video, Kane talks about his election as mayor of Knox County Tennessee.

Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, won the election in 2018 and has been serving as mayor since then. His last WWE match came in October of 2018 when he and his storyline brother The Undertaker, faced Triple H and Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Since that time, many WWE fans have been under the assumption that Kane has finished with the company. But in the video, he gives a very different answer in regard to his potential in-ring future.

“There’s a saying in WWE: never say never and again, I love performing. That last match as The Brothers of Destruction against D-Generation X, two legendary teams, two mythical teams. And it didn’t turn out like Undertaker and I wanted it to turn out. So never say never, maybe we’ll be back out there someday.”

Of course Kane is 52 now and he does have responsibilities as mayor, so a potential return could be difficult at this point. But with rumored plans of another WWE event in Saudi Arabia, as well as a possible Undertaker comeback, it’s entirely possible that The Big Red Machine could be back in action sooner rather than later.
