WWE.com has removed Finn Balor from the official list of names set to compete in this year’s 30-Man Royal Rumble match, following the announcement that he would be replacing Braun Strowman as Brock Lesnar’s opponent for the Universal Championship.
Likewise, with Sasha Banks set to challenge “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at next weekend’s pay-per-view, she has also been removed from the 30-Woman Rumble match. Of course, there’s nothing stopping any of these Superstars from potentially participating in their respective Rumble matches.
Also confirmed this week is Rusev defending the United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, and all three competitors who will challenge Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Championship; Kalisto, Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa.
