After making a surprise appearance in Wednesday night’s all-female battle royal, Kacy Catanzaro returned to action at Friday night’s WWE NXT Live event in Melbourne, Florida. The former American Ninja Warrior star picked up a win over Vanessa Borne in her first singles match in 6 months.
It was reported back in September that Catanzaro had “handed in her notice” after suffering a back injury, although her boyfriend, WWE Superstar Ricochet denied those claims in an interview, saying that she was not injured, but was considering life on the road as a full-time wrestler against potentially starting a family.
