Matt Riddle has removed himself from WarGames, and set his sights on a brand new target.
After being left for dead last Wednesday night by Finn Balor, the “Original Bro” returned to WWE NXT this evening looking for revenge. The two brawled all around the ring before back-up from the Undisputed Era prompted the arrival of Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic.
Balor used all the chaos to sneak away quietly, but when the action finally calmed down, Riddle informed team captain Ciampa that he was withdrawing from their upcoming WarGames match, in order to face Finn Balor in singles action. Management immediately signed off on the bout, and it was made official for the Nov. 22nd show.
