— Combat Zone Wrestling announced today that WWE has Even Singleton to a developmental deal. Singleton trained at CZW’s wrestling academy and will be starting with FCW shortly.
— With Randy Orton’s injury keeping him out of action for an unspecified amount of time, WWE has moved the Air Boom vs. Primo and Epico feud over to SmackDown’s live events to add some star power to those shows.
The WWE Tag Team Champions reportedly debuted a new theme song at this week’s live event from Detroit.
— The new WWE live event stage setup is being used at RAW and SmackDown shows.
— To update the story of WWE’s pay-per-view events moving to the new Network this year, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan is for WWE’s shows to remain on PPV through WrestleMania in April, which would be the end of an era as WWE’s final monthly PPV offering. From there, only SummerSlam and Survivor Series being sold on PPV, with the other monthly events airing on the Network ad no additional charge.
