WWE will be going a different route with their new WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships.
As seen at Sunday night’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (Sasha Banks & Bayley) became the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions by winning the Women’s Tag-Team Elimination Chamber Match.
On Monday night’s post-PPV episode of RAW, the champions celebrated their victory during an in-ring segment. It was announced that the team will be defending their titles on the RAW, SmackDown Live and NXT brands.
From there, Nia Jax and Tamina came out and interrupted the champions. Jax claimed that Banks only cares about herself and pointed out that history shows she loses titles on her first defense. The duo tried to attack the champions, however they were fought off before they could make it into the ring.
